I’m simply a former soldier writing romances under a pen name to help out a bunch of wounded veterans – give them a chance to see themselves in the story having a happy ending. Until my Buttercup shows up unannounced and stealing my heart before I can catch my breath. I’m a sucker for feisty, wounded things and I’ve got an easy fix for the name mix-up. She can marry me and change her last name. The sooner the better. See? Problem solved.

I’m going to lose my job and my home if I don’t put an end to this… this imposter. But Damien is awfully persuasive about fixing the problem and keeping me around. That has to be another piece of fiction, surely? But I wouldn’t have believed that these guys hold romance book club every Friday night, either, if I hadn’t seen it for myself. So now what?
